Whiskey Rx
Robert Hinton and the Muddy River Band is a country and Southern rock project rooted in the Bryan/College Station, Texas music scene, built around the unmistakable voice of Robert Hinton. Blending traditional country storytelling with a gritty Southern edge, the band delivers music that feels both timeless and hard-hitting.
Their debut single, “Whiskey Rx,” released in early 2026, set the tone for the project—raw, melodic, and unapologetically country. The track was produced by Mick Southerland and features guest drums from Jim Riley of Rascal Flatts.
The lineup brings together a tight group of seasoned musicians:
- Robert Hinton – Lead Vocals
- Charlie Vantine – Guitar
- Mick Southerland – Drums
- Anthony Arizmendi – Bass
Active across the Central and East Texas circuit, the band regularly performs in the BCS area, including local staples like The Palace, building a loyal following with live shows.
